2023 IWHC Annual General Meeting

The business of the Annual General Meeting of the Manchester Irish Centre shall be as follows:

1). To present, and if accepted, adopt the accounts and balance sheet for the financial year, ending 31 January 2023.

Such accounts have first been audited by the Centre’s auditors.

2). The election of Committee members.

There are 11 vacancies to be filled. Every candidate for election must be proposed and seconded by two paid-up members, a candidate must have been a member for the previous 6 months and be over 18 years of age.

3). The Election of Officers (the IWHC’s President, Chair, Treasurer and Secretary).

Officers can only be elected from those who have been on the IWHC committee for over a year. Every candidate for election shall be proposed and seconded by two paid-up members, and must be over 18 years of age).

4). To consider any other motions, of which at least seven days’ notice has been given to the Secretary in writing.

On receipt of such notice, the Secretary shall add these motions to the AGM’s Agenda, which will be posted on the notice board within the Irish World Heritage Centre, Manchester.

Please note that no membership applications will be processed on the day of the Annual General Meeting. These can only be done on weekdays, between 9 am-5 pm.
