The Irish World Heritage Centre hosts many events over the year. This Irish World Heritage Centre Events page is updated regularly with our forthcoming public events. It’s also worth keeping an eye on our Facebook page for regular, on the day promotions and updates, too.

Sat 6th August 2022:
Food & Groove Festival.

Food and groove festival - one of the August 2022 Irish world heritage centre events.

From 12pm to 11pm on Saturday 6th August, the Food & Groove Festival will be a day full of music, fun, food, and drink.

This food and music festival has a packed line-up of legendary musicians, fantastic food, and hilarious comedians.

If you’re planning on joining us at Food & Groove Festival, book your festival tickets today! Please note, this event is not managed by the Irish World Heritage Centre. So all queries should be directed to Big Dreams Entertainment.

Wed 10th August 2022:
Irish Community Care’s Frea Event.

Car Boot Sale in Manchester

Frea will be holding an info session at
Irish World Heritage Centre 10th August at 6.30pm on the Irish govt Mother & Baby & County Home Redress Scheme.

The event is open to the public, with a particular invitation to anyone who was resident in a Home & maybe eligible to access the scheme.

IWHC Car Boot Sale.

Car Boot Sale in Manchester

Buyers are welcome from 6am – 1pm! The IWHC Gates (and cafe) will be open from 5.30am to allow sellers to get set up, ready for 6am.

Give us a call on 0161 697 4105 to book your pitch in advance. It’s £10 per car or £15 per van. If there’s space on the day, drive – ons will be permitted, but we are expecting to fill up fast!

Friday 21st April 2023:
The Fureys.

The Fureys are one of the Irish World Heritage Centre events for 2023

Please note: This is a rescheduled event, so tickets purchased prior to Covid-19 are valid for this event. You can call us on 0161 697 4105 if you have any questions regarding tickets for this event. You can also email if preferred.

Irish Folk band The Furey’s, will be singing all of their hits in concert at the Irish World Heritage Centre.

The set list includes; The Green Fields of France, Red Rose Cafe, Sweet 16, I Will Love You, The Old Man, Leaving Nancy, Clare to Here, and many more of their greatest hits.
