We’re celebrating a day early because The Manchester St Patrick’s Day parade is leaving from the IWHC on Mother’s Day itself (Sunday 10th March).
The menu is to be confirmed, but there’s an example of our Sunday Roast menu here, which will give you an idea what to expect. This page will be updated as soon as the menu is finalised.

The Manchester St Patricks Day Parade 2024 is back at the Irish World Heritage Centre this year! The parade will once again depart from The Irish World Heritage Centre on Sunday 10th March 2024, and there will be a full day of celebrations.
There is a Manchester St Patrick’s Day Parade 2024 planning meeting at the IWHC on Tuesday 23rd January at 7pm. If you’d like to contribute ideas, or volunteer on the day, please come along!
This year’s parade will leave the IWHC, turn Left onto Queens Road, then left onto Cheetham Hill Road. The parade will then go straight up to the AO Arena, passing Manchester Fort, before turning round, and heading back to the IWHC. The parade route is roughly 2.5 miles long, and took around 2 hours to complete last year.
Queens Road and Cheetham Hill road were closed along the parade route from 11.30am-2pm last year, so expect the same this year.
Last year, parade attendees had the chance to carry their County’s flag. They were allocated on a first come first served basis, and lots of parade attendees loved carrying them.
Groups who want to join the parade with a parade float MUST register beforehand. Please email bookings@iwhc.com with your information and contact details – Last year, we welcomed groups from all communities, who wanted to join in the celebrations. It was wonderful to see the community come together to celebrate St Patrick. We can’t wait to do it all again this year.
Why not treat your mum to a Boozy Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea at the Irish World Heritage Centre, this year? For just £19.95 each, you can indulge on a selection of sandwiches, cakes and pastries, along with a glass of Prosecco.
This event is happening on Saturday 9th March, from 1pm to 4pm.
Booking is essential, and payment is required at the time of booking.
To reserve your places, call into the IWHC, phone 0161 697 4105 or email your details to bookings@iwhc.com and we will call you back to take payment.
