Get Your Tickets

Tickets must be purchased in advance. They cost £10 per person, and while children of all ages are permitted to attend this private event, they will all require a ticket to do so.

Breakfast with Santa 2024

How It Works:

Following feedback last year, we’re running the event differently for 2024. There are 3 time slots available. The time slots are:

When you book, you will choose a time slot, and should arrive at the session start time. When you arrive, you’ll be seated and provided with your breakfasts. (Drinks are not included in the ticket price, but can be purchased in the bar or cafe).

After you’ve eaten, you’ll have the chance to get your photos with Santa, and children will receive their gift. You’ll then have the opportunity to enjoy further drinks and snacks in the cafe or our outdoor seating area if you’d like to stay longer.

We have plenty of free parking available, and we are located right next door to Queens Road Metrolink Station, if you don’t want to drive.

Our Breakfast With Santa sessions sold out before December last year, so be sure to book your slots ASAP, to avoid disappointment!

We are celebrating Bonfire Night in style this year! Not content with one free Bonfire Night fireworks display in Manchester, we’re hosting TWO! Following the sad news that Manchester City Council have cancelled their events for a second year, lots of people are looking for a free Bonfire Night fireworks display in Manchester, so we wanted to help.

Both of our events are free fireworks displays – we will not have a bonfire. There will also be a funfair on-site. (Times and prices of that are still to be confirmed).

Why not join us on Sunday 3rd November 2024 from around 7pm for our first FREE Fireworks display. The second event is on Tuesday 5th November at 7pm.

What’s Happening at these Free Bonfire Night Fireworks Display in Manchester?

On Sunday 3rd November, we will be serving Sunday Roasts in the Wild Geese Bar from 1-5pm, like we do every Sunday. So why not head over for that, before enjoying the display? The Funfair will also be open. (That is not free – Times and prices TBC).

We will have the funfair outside, and traditional Bonfire Night food available inside the IWHC on Bonfire Night (Tuesday 5th November).

free fireworks display

While it’s free to enter The Irish World Heritage Centre and watch the fireworks on both nights, the funfair is not free, so make sure you’ve got plenty of change with you, as there’s no cashpoint on site. Food and drinks served inside the IWHC can be paid for with cash or card.

What if it Rains?

Please note, no tickets are required to enjoy the fireworks display. We recommend you dress for the weather, but we do have some covered space to watch outside, thanks to our covered patio area. Rain won’t stop play, but please keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates.

Getting Here

Parking is free both nights, but will be very limited, as the funfair is situated on half of our carpark. Our address is 1 Irish Town Way, Cheetham Hill, Manchester, M8-0AE.

We are right next door to Queens Road Metrolink Station, so we’d recommend getting the tram, wherever possible. A weekend family Metrolink ticket is £9.50 and valid from 6pm on Friday until 23.59 Sunday. 2 adults and 3 children can travel on one, so it’s great value.

Please don’t park on the Nu Hotel carpark opposite the centre – It’s for their customers only, and they’ve issued fines in the past.

There is no bonfire at this free Bonfire Night fireworks display in Manchester, and no sparklers are permitted on-site.

Colette over at Going on an Adventure has compiled a fab list of local Bonfire Night events – it’s worth checking out if you’re hoping to attend events in the run up to Bonfire Night itself. We hope to see you at our free Bonfire Night fireworks display in Manchester on Sunday 5th November!

2023 Christmas Dinner Menu Christmas Dinner 2024

How Much Does it Cost?

We have done our best to keep costs as low as possible, while still ensuring our staff are sufficiently compensated for giving up their Christmas Day to work.

(If children prefer, they can have Chicken Nuggets and Chips, instead of a traditional Christmas dinner, and an Ice Cream Sundae for dessert. Due to the limited table availability and increased overheads associated with opening on Christmas Day, this will still be £30 per child for those aged 2-11. (Please let us know in advance if your child would prefer this option, so we can cater accordingly).

Gluten Free:

We will swap out the regular gravy and bread roll for a GF option where required – This must be requested ahead of time, so we can ensure we have enough on the day. We cannot offer Gluten Free Yorkshire Puddings or Stuffing as our kitchen isn’t big enough to safely accommodate this.

Vegetarian:

Vegetarian Gravy is served with the Nut Roast. We cannot provide vegetarian pigs in blankets, due to limited kitchen space, but all of our dessert options are Vegetarian.

Manchester St Patricks Day Parade 2024 Route

This year’s parade will leave the IWHC, turn Left onto Queens Road, then left onto Cheetham Hill Road. The parade will then go straight up to the AO Arena, passing Manchester Fort, before turning round, and heading back to the IWHC. The parade route is roughly 2.5 miles long, and took around 2 hours to complete last year.

Queens Road and Cheetham Hill road were closed along the parade route from 11.30am-2pm last year, so expect the same this year.
