Free Street Dance Lesson on 12th Oct

Did you know the Royal Voluntary Service arrange regular free FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING activities, which are funded by players of the Peoples Postcode Lottery? Their next session is a Street Dance lesson for over 55’s, which is being held right here at the Irish World Heritage Centre.

Angela, from Angela’s Dance Club will be teaching us Street Dance during this free, 2 hour session.

What is Street Dance?

It’s a modern take on what was formerly called “Disco Dancing”.  It is solo dancing to modern and old tunes. (Imagine John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever but with more attitude, and you’re just about there).

Join us on Wednesday 12th October 2022 from 2-4pm, right here at the Irish World Heritage Centre, 1 Irish Town Way, off Queens Road, Cheetham Hill, Manchester M8 0AE. We run several Dance Classes here at the IWHC – find out more here.

Please note there are limited spaces and bookings essential.

Please contact karen.kennedy@royalvoluntaryservice.org.uk for more information and to book your place.
