We are celebrating Bonfire Night in style this year! Why not join us on Sunday 5th November 2023 from around 7pm for our FREE annual Fireworks display. Following the sad news that Manchester City Council have cancelled their events, lots of people are looking for a free Bonfire Night fireworks display in Manchester.
The Funfair will be open Saturday 4th November from 2-8pm and Sunday 5th November from 1-8pm, so you can always enjoy the fair before or after indulging in our Sunday roast, which is served in the Wild Geese Bar from 1-5pm every Sunday.
We will have traditional Bonfire Night food available inside the IWHC on Bonfire Night, too. While it’s free to enter The Irish World Heritage Centre and watch the fireworks, the funfair is not free, so make sure you’ve got plenty of change with you, as there’s no cashpoint on site.
Please note, no tickets are required to enjoy the fireworks display. We recommend you dress for the weather, but we do have some covered space to watch outside, thanks to our covered patio area.
Parking is free on the night, but will be limited. Don’t forget, we are right next door to Queens Road Metrolink Station, so you can always get the tram here, if you want to avoid driving. There is no bonfire at this free Bonfire Night fireworks display in Manchester, and no sparklers are permitted on-site.
If you want to keep up with day to day news from the IWHC, it’s worth following our Facebook page.
Colette over at Going on an Adventure has compiled a fab list of local Bonfire Night events – it’s worth checking out if you’re hoping to attend events in the run up to Bonfire Night itself. We hope to see you at our free Bonfire Night fireworks display in Manchester on Sunday 5th November!
