Free over 55’s Social Media Session – 17th July 2023

On Monday 17th July, we are hosting a free Social Media Session for over 55’s. This event is being ran by the Royal Voluntary Service, and all queries should be directed to them. This free Social Media Session will help you get to grips with using social media, and how to spot scams.

Free Social Media Session for Over 55’s

This Free Social Media Session has been funded by players of the People’s Postcode Lottery. this interactive session provides peer support on the benefits and pitfalls of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.  Whether you are a complete beginner or have half an idea how social media works, why not come and quash the myths?

Bring your smartphone or media device for on the day support. Or if you’re an expert, why not come along and share your knowledge.

When is it?

On: Monday 17^th July 2pm – 4pm – Please arrive by 1.45pm for registration.

At: Irish World Heritage Centre, 1 Irish Town Way, off Queens Road, Cheetham Hill, Manchester M8 0AE
